The Seneca Valley School District is now officially moving forward with plans to build a new elementary school, after receiving approval from Cranberry Township Supervisors.
The board gave their approval for the district to build a new kindergarten through sixth grade building on property the district owns along Ehrman Road.
Construction on the two-story, X-shaped building, is expected to begin this spring—with the school slated to open by the fall of 2022.
The new school will replace Evans City Elementary School.
