The Seneca Valley Foundation is receiving recognition for its positive impact on the community.
The group was recently named a Community Champion Distinguished Honoree by the Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber.
According to the Chamber, the foundation’s efforts to raise money for families in need and provide childcare stipends while schools were in remote learning were a few of the reasons why they earned the award.
The Seneca Valley Foundation is comprised of 12 board members all residing in the district.
