The Seneca Valley School District will transition a couple familiar faces into new roles.
Mr. Ashley Porter was approved by the school board during a meeting earlier this month as the next Supervisor of Equity while Dr. Marie Palano will take over as Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Assessment.
Porter has been at Seneca Valley for five years as Assistant Principal of the Seneca Valley Academy of Choice. In his new role, Porter will work with students, staff, administrators, and community members to create a school environment where all feel safe.
Palano has spent the last 11 years with Seneca Valley as Director of Analytics and Federal Programs. Palano is a resident of Cranberry Township and says that she looks forward to continuing to support the school community in her new role.
The Seneca Valley School Board also hired Nii Sowa-Doku as the district’s Activities and Athletics Assistant Director. Sowa-Doku has over seven years of experience working on collegiate athletics departments.
