A western Pennsylvania lawmaker wants to make it illegal to leave grass clippings on the road after you mow.
State Senator Camera Bartolotta- who serves parts of Beaver, Washington and Greene counties- introduced the bill. She says the goal is to keep motorcyclists safe.
Grass clippings on the road can make it extremely slippery for bikers, similar to hitting a patch of ice. Bartolotta says they can also clog up the storm drains making flooding worse.
