Pennsylvania Republican Senator Pat Toomey says he will vote “no” on the nomination of Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court.
Toomey said that Brown Jackson has a “history of judicial activism” while serving as a federal judge.
He also believes that she expressed an inability to define her judicial philosophy.
Toomey is joining most Republicans in opposition against Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court. However, all Democratic Senators said they will vote for her nomination, essentially ensuring she will be confirmed to the seat.
