U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania Bob Casey has undergone successful surgery for prostate cancer.
Casey’s doctor reports that the procedure went as expected and he is not expected to require additional treatment.
Casey and his family thanked everyone for their support and believe that he will be able to resume his normal schedule after a period of rest and recovery.
Casey received the prostate cancer diagnosis in December.
