Multiple crews were called to Moraine State Park Monday night in order to search for a missing group of people.
The first call came into the Butler County 911 Center around 6:45 p.m. for two people who were reportedly missing at the park, near Country Club Road. Park rangers and fire crews from Prospect arrived and began the search.
Soon, additional crews and the Butler County Water Rescue team were also called in to help for the search. After about an hour-long search, crews were able to get in contact with the individuals.
They found a total of six people in the group and all were in good health. However, they needed to be rescued by boat.
They were brought back to the Route 528 boat launch and safely made it back to their vehicles.
