A local school is using a popular kids’ movie to help teach math.
Seneca Valley School District’s Connoquenessing Valley Elementary is holding a Frozen Math Night beginning at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
The evening will include three sessions for parents focusing on different math games and tasks. At the same time, kids will work with students from the Westminster College education program who designed math activities around the movie Frozen.
At least one of the characters from the movie will also be on hand to pose for pictures with children who attend.
