A former Butler County Commissioner and community leader is getting a scholarship in his name.
Butler County Community College announced the development of the Dale Pinkerton Leadership Scholarship.
Nearly three dozen businesses, individuals, and organizations contributed almost $29,000 to the annual scholarship which will be awarded to a BC3 student who has completed the Butler County Youth Leadership program.
Pinkerton served on multiple boards in Butler, including BC3’s.
