The South Butler Community Library is inviting parents and guardians to an important event planned for later this week.
The Saxonburg Police Department will be providing child fingerprinting on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the library.
When adults bring their children to the library, the police will fingerprint the child and then give a fingerprint card to the adults who can then keep the card with important papers in case of emergency.
This is a free service of the Saxonburg Police and no appointments are necessary. Anyone interested in taking advantage of this program should just come to the South Butler Community Library.
