The annual Saxonburg Fireman’s Carnival will kick off on Monday.
Festivities will get underway Monday evening at 7pm with the annual Pet Parade down Saxonburg’s Main Street. Other events for the week include a Water Battle between local fire departments, Miss Saxonburg pageants, and kiddee matinees.
Then on Thursday evening, the annual fireman’s parade will travel throughout the borough. The event, which is the largest fireman’s parade on this side of the Mississippi, will kick off at 7pm.
There will also be carnival rides and booths located behind the fire hall. The rides will be open nightly from 6pm to 11pm.
