The Butler A.M. Rotary has started a campaign to renovate the playground at Butler Memorial Park.
The ‘Save The Playground’ campaign has hopes of raising $100,000 to facilitate a two-year reno of the playground near Miller Shelter. Plans are to make it accessible to those with disabilities.
Donations can be made online. Businesses are also being encouraged to consider company matches to employee donations. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
The Butler A.M. Rotary says this is the first time the club has made a public appeal to support its efforts. The A.M. Rotary was the group being the construction of the Purple Playground at Alameda Park in Butler Township.
