A Saturday afternoon fire in East Butler has been ruled accidental.
The State Police Fire Marshal’s Unit says the blaze that began around 1 p.m. at a home on Madison Avenue was caused by a ‘child playing with fire.’ Authorities did not elaborate.
About $1,000 in damage was done to the home. No one was hurt.
