The Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign is in full swing.
Funds raised through the drive go for a variety of uses, including to the Salvation Army soup kitchen, food pantry and camp, as well as to support backpacks, coats, toys and disaster assistance.
According to Major Daniel Hazeldine, it’s important to remember that all money raised here stays here in our community.
“What we raise here stays here,” Hazeldine said. “It stays in Butler to service Butler and help the people out here.”
The Salvation Army is located locally at 313 West Cunningham Street in the City of Butler.
