The unfinished hotel in downtown Butler will soon be sold.
The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Butler is expected to take action early next week on the closing of the sale of the Marriott Springhill Suites on East Jefferson Street. The buyer of the hotel has not been named publicly but the purchase price has- $7.3 million.
The structure is being sold by the developer.
The Marriott is still under construction and it’s unclear when it will officially open. It was built as part of downtown Butler’s Centre City Project, that also included the parking garage next to the hotel and the expanded Rite Aid on the next block.
