At least two people were injured as a result of a two vehicle accident in Slippery Rock Township earlier this week.
According to State Police, a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Robert Guyer failed to yield the right of way while attempting to turn left from Branchton Road onto Route 8 on Monday around 9:30 a.m.
A vehicle driven by 80-year-old Leland McCalmont of Harrisville struck Guyer’s vehicle. Both McCalmont and a passenger needed to be transported to Grove City Medical Center for treatment of injury by the Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Company.
Guyer was not transported but did sustain a minor injury and was charged with failure to follow stop and yield signs.
