An accident involving a bus in Middlesex Township has resulted in at least one injury.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just before 3 p.m. for the crash near the intersection of Route 8 South and Route 228 East.
No students were on the bus at the time of the crash but crews from Middlesex and Penn Townships responded to the scene along with Saxonburg EMS to evaluate two vehicle drivers.
A car reportedly ran into the back of the bus and at least one person needed to be transported to the hospital for further treatment. The person’s condition is unknown at this time.
