At least one person was seriously injured in a crash on Route 8 south Wednesday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center at 3 p.m. for the accident involving a motorcycle in the 500 block of Pittsburgh Road near Hunter Truck Sales in Penn Township.
Penn Township emergency responders were among those arriving on scene to find the motorcyclist conscious but still on the road. A Life Flight helicopter was called for.
Both northbound lanes were blocked with debris as well as one southbound lane. Expect delays in that area until crews are able to clean up.
