Work is set to begin today at a major intersection in Penn Township.
Officials say crews will start a project to upgrade and install new traffic lights at the intersection of Route 8 and Airport Road.
This is part of a major project to make the intersection safer for drivers. In addition to the new traffic lights, there will eventually be new turning lanes installed, improved lighting, and better pedestrian crossings.
Drivers who use Route 8 could see delays during the project.
