Road work on busy Route 528 in Jackson Township is scheduled to begin Thursday.
The road will be paved from Route 19 to Route 68. Crews will also replace and realign the bridge over Likens Run.
This is a $6 million project. A temporary traffic signal will be used to help facilitate traffic.
When complete, the 10-ton weight limit will be removed, which means larger vehicles such as tractor-trailers and semi-trucks will be allowed to drive on it. This has led to some concerns from local officials.
