At least one person has been injured as a result of an accident in Adams Township Monday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just before 3 p.m. for a two vehicle crash on Route 228 westbound near the intersection with Adams Ridge Road.
Crews from Adams Area and Callery were among those arriving on the scene to find one vehicle had rear-ended another. A woman reportedly claimed not to be able to move her lower body.
Expect traffic delays in that area for some time as crews work to clear the scene.
