At least one person has been seriously injured as a result of a Friday afternoon crash on Interstate 79.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after noon for the rollover crash near mile marker 86 in Jackson Township.
Units from Harmony fire department and EMS arrived on the scene to find a vehicle up on the guardrail with a woman trapped inside. Extrication took about a half hour. A helicopter was put on standby but then cancelled as the woman was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
Anticipate traffic delays if traveling in that area for most of the afternoon.
