The Slippery Rock University women’s soccer team fell in the second round of the NCAA Division II postseason tournament on Saturday, losing at home to PSAC foe West Chester by a final of 4-2.
Slippery Rock concludes the season with an overall record of 18-4. The 18 wins are the most in a single season in program history. This season also marked the first NCAA tournament appearance for the Rock since 2013, and their first PSAC Championship since 2012.
West Chester will take on PSAC member Bloomsburg in the third round of the NCAA tournament.
