The Slippery Rock University men’s basketball team defeated the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown 72-70 in overtime last night at SRU’s Morrow Field House. Abdul King hit a pair of free throws for The Rock with five seconds remaining in the game to force the overtime, and Malcolm Richardson hit the winning shot in the OT.
SRU improved to 10-9 overall and are 5-8 in the PSAC. UPJ is now 10-7 overall and 7-6 in the PSAC.
