The Slippery Rock University football team broke multiple school records en route to a 77-38 win over PSAC West foe Seton Hill on Saturday.
In all, the Rock gained a school record 795 total yards, which was over 800 total yards until the Rock took several kneel downs to end the game. Quarterback Tanner Garry threw for 326 yards and four scores, and backup quarterback Andrew Koester added 77 passing yards and two scores. The offense also featured stellar performances by running backs Isiah Neely (158 yards on 15 carries, 2 touchdowns), Chacar Berry (92 yards, 1 touchdown), and Braden Fochtman (99 yards).
Wide receiver Marcus Johnson also broke the school record for all-purpose yards in a single season, as he ended the day with seven catches for 115 yards and one score (his total all-purpose yardage is currently at 1,894 for 2017). Milly Raye also finished with 295 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns.
Kyle Hall led the defense with seven tackles.
The Rock will close out the 2017 regular season, and potentially earn a trip to the national playoffs, on Saturday when they travel to Kutztown for a noon kickoff.
