The Slippery Rock University baseball team split a road doublheader with Seton Hill Sunday in Greensburg. The Rock claimed a 7-1 win the opening game, before losing game two 8-7. With the doubleheader split, The Rock will enter the PSAC tournament as the three seed out of the Western Division and will play Shippensburg, the second seed in the East. Their first round game begins at 9:30am Wednesday in Johnstown. SRU is 26-18 overall and 17-10 in the PSAC-West. Sunday’s split, combined with a Rock sweep May 5th – gave The Rock a 3-1 seasons series win over the Griffins – its first series victory against Seton Hills since they joined the PSAC.
