Drivers can now get through Route 356 on the South Side of Butler once again as the road has reopened.
The road restrictions were lifted Wednesday night and traffic can flow freely again between the Wayne Street Viaduct and the intersection at the bottom Center Avenue Hill.
The closure was in place due to a structure fire on Sunday that destroyed a building along Center Avenue which housed Hutch’s Diner and a number of apartments.
Crews will continue to work on taking the building down as the demolition is not yet complete.
