At least one person has been injured as a result of an accident Tuesday afternoon in Buffalo Township.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after 1 p.m. for an accident with entrapment on South Pike Road.
Buffalo Township and Sarver Fire Departments as well as Saxonburg EMS were among the units responding to the scene to find multiple vehicles involved.
The seriousness of those injuries is unknown at this time but traffic has been delayed while that scene is cleared. PennDOT has been contacted for extra attention to the Grandview Hill area of South Pike Road.
We have also received word of a second accident in southern Butler County, this one occurring just after 2 p.m. on North Pike Road in Winfield Township. Early reports are that a tractor trailer ran into a utility pole and brought some lines down.
