The Republican National Committee is asking the Supreme Court to take on a voting case that started in Butler County before Tuesday’s election.
Last week the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled 4-3 in favor of two Butler County voters whose provisional ballot were not counted because they did not include a secrecy envelope in their mail-in ballot.
The RNC is arguing the State Supreme Court erred in that decision saying that state law does not allow for this correction in the name of election integrity.
No word on if the courts will issue a stay order before Tuesday’s election.
