The final part of improvements made to a local park is completed and residents can now enjoy the facility.
At their meeting Tuesday night, Council heard about the recent painting and sealing of the pickleball courts at Ritts Park by Asphalt Surface Enterprises, Inc.
This project was originally approved in December but the work was delayed until weather conditions were favorable. Signs and nets were put up on Wednesday with more signage still to be installed.
The money to pay for this improvement comes from the Ritts Park Greenways and Trails grant. This is the last part of the work to be done as part of this $125,000 project at the park following paving, restoration of seating, instillation of a fit trail, and planting of trees.
