Hundreds of bikers will take to Butler County streets on Saturday for the 7th annual ‘Riding for the Cure’ Cancer Awareness Ride.
Registration will get underway at 9 a.m. at Rock Ann Haven in Butler Township. Bikers will pull out at 11 a.m. and travel through several stops before finishing with a pig roast party at 5 p.m. at the Longhorn Corral.
The cost to participate is $20 for drivers and $10 for passengers. Money raised as part of this event will be given to two local organizations who will use it to help local cancer patients pay for screenings, education, treatment, medicine, transportation, wigs, cancer care packages and more.
The annual event is always held the last Saturday in July. The public is invited to attend and you do not have to ride a motorcycle to join in this event.
