The ongoing battle over a proposed carbon tax in Pennsylvania continues.
Governor Tom Wolf vetoed a bill that would have required legislative approval for the state to join the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative—also known as RGGI.
Local State Senator Joe Pittman is vehemently against the proposal, and said Wolf doesn’t have the authority to enter into the agreement on his own.
Pittman adds that he will continue to look for ways to avoid Wolf joining RGGI.
