Police are now offering a $15,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the man who shot a Beaver County police officer Wednesday.
According to our news partners at WPXI-TV, Harmony Township Police Officer Alan Loskoch is sore but doing well. He was treated and released from the hospital yesterday.
Police are still searching for the shooter, who they believe is still in the area and may be wounded. The suspect is described as a light-skinned African-American male, about 6 feet tall, with 3 to 4-inch dreadlocks. He is considered armed and dangerous.
Early Wednesday morning, Officer Loskoch approached a man (in Harmony Township, Beaver County) who he thought was attempting to break into cars. The suspect started shooting. Loskoch was shot in the chest but was wearing a bulletproof vest.
