Area veterans are invited to attend veterans’ assistance hours at Rep. Brian Ellis district office in Lyndora on Thursday November 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The office is located at 6 Chesapeake St. suite 200 in Lyndora.
Larry Michaelis, department service officer with the American Legion, is available to assist veterans and their families with compensation, pension, death benefits, education, heath care issues and more. Veterans do not have to be a member of the American Legion to receive these services. This outreach is typically held on the second Friday of each month, but the schedule has been altered due to the recognition of Veterans Day.
