The public is invited to visit a traveling memorial later this week to raise awareness of sacrifices made by members of the U.S. Armed Forces.
Armstrong is presenting the Exchange Club of Rome’s Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Replica Tour for a stop at Zelienople on Friday between 6:30 and 7 p.m.
This tour is based out of Georgia and will include a police and motorcycle escort into town from Interstate 79 north onto Route 19. Those attending are invited to line the streets near Four Corners Park.
More than 1,000 American Legion motorcycles are expected to participate so traffic will be impacted in that area. Visitors to this outdoor replica tour will also be able to view the Wall of Honor display.
