The City of Butler Parks, Recreation Grounds, and Facilities Authority approved the purchase of replacement seats to finish a project that addresses seating in need of repair at Kelly Automotive Park in Butler.
A total of 25 seats will be purchased from Contour Seats at a price not to exceed $500.
These seats are 18 inches wide and over 65 seats have already been replaced this year as part of this repair project.
Other repairs currently underway at the ballpark include a hole in the turf of the batter’s box on the field, lighting, dugout water fountains, and renovation of bullpen mounds for home team and visitors.
