A couple of local United States Congressmen are reaching out to the community with events scheduled for later today.
Republican Representative Mike Kelly is joining with colleagues on the House Ways and Means Select Revenues Subcommittee for a virtual hearing titled Examining the Economic Impact of Federal Infrastructure Investment. This hearing will begin at 2 p.m. and one of the speakers will be the President of Portersville-based McClymonds Supply and Transit Company.
Beginning at 5:30 p.m., Republican Representative Glenn “GT” Thompson will host an hour-long telephone town hall about his recent work in Congress. He will also answer questions from constituents in the 15th Congressional District which includes the eastern portion of Butler County.
