A local lawmaker is reminding residents about unclaimed property following a recent visit to the location where the state stores items.
State Representative Marci Mustello was joined by several other colleagues for a tour of Pennsylvania’s Treasury Vault under the Finance Building at the Capitol Complex in Harrisburg.
Unclaimed property can include money from dormant bank accounts, abandoned stocks, forgotten retirement accounts, and military items.
Anyone with questions about unclaimed property can contact Mustello’s office or visit the Treasury Department’s website.
