There’s still time for local young people to participate in a poster coloring contest organized by a local lawmaker.
State Representative Marci Mustello is encouraging students in the 11th legislative district to join in her Autism Awareness poster contest.
Age-appropriate posters are available for three different age groups beginning with kids as young as kindergarten and as old as 12th grade.
Schools interested in participating are asked to contact Mustello’s office and staff will deliver copies of the posters. A three judge panel will choose winners in each age group May 9th with Mustello presenting a special prize to winners.
