A local lawmaker will convene an informational meeting today to discuss threats to the National Electric Grid.
State Representative and Pennsylvania House Environmental Resources and Energy Committee Chairman Daryl Metcalfe will lead the hearing in Harrisburg beginning at 10 a.m.
The morning will include presentations about electromagnetic pulse attacks, solar flares, and other security threats from the Chairman of the PA PUC as well as scientists and electrical industry experts.
This hearing will be streamed live online through Metcalfe’s website.
