U.S. Representative Mike Kelly of Butler- a Republican- will attend President-Elect Trump’s inauguration.
Congressman Kelly was the first lawmaker to introduce legislation to repeal one of the provisions of Obamacare. The four-term lawmaker introduced legislation earlier this month to repeal the so-called Cadillac Tax of the Affordable Care Act.
U.S. Senator Democrat Bob Casey met with Vice President-Elect Mike Pence earlier this week. In a statement, Casey said he expressed his desire to work in a bipartisan fashion with the incoming administration on a plan to make investments in the nation’s infrastructure- including here in Pennsylvania by rebuilding our roads and bridges and expanding our broadband.
Casey also voiced concerns of any plan to repeal the Affordable Care Act. It’s unknown if Senator Casey will be in attendance today.
