A local lawmaker is inviting the public to learn more about cybersecurity through a seminar planned for later this week.
Republican U.S. Congressman Mike Kelly of Butler is hosting the gathering on Friday from 3 to 4:30 p.m.on Butler County Community College’s main campus Founders Hall.
Kelly will join representatives from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Agency as well as the U.S. Secret Service to discuss the importance of securing private information.
This presentation is open to small business owners as well as residents concerned about keeping personal finances secure.
