Congressman Mike Kelly is joining a bipartisan group of legislators looking to reauthorize a bill that puts more funding toward childhood cancer research.
It’s known as the STAR Act and it was first approved in 2018. Kelly says the bill expanded opportunities for childhood cancer research and improved efforts to identify and track childhood cancer instances.
The reauthorization bill would allow the STAR Act to continue for the next five years.
