Congressman Mike Kelly is running for re-election.
The Republican from Butler announced his bid to seek office for an eighth term in 2024.
Kelly represents the 16th District, which includes all of Butler County and much of the northwest corridor of Pennsylvania.
Kelly says his goal is to control government spending and to take Western Pennsylvania values to Washington D.C.
Kelly first ran for office in 2010, defeating incumbent Kathy Dahlkemper.
