Local State Representative Jaret Gibbons will host two veteran specialists at his Elwood City office this week.
At 10 a.m. Tuesday, Ryan Paglia of the state Department of Labor and Industry will be in Gibbons’ office to discuss job and training opportunities for vets. Employers who are interested in veteran hiring incentives are also invited to attend.
Then at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Mark Thompson of the American Legion’s Veterans Assistance program will visit Gibbons’ office to discuss benefits available to veterans, including how to file appeals to existing claims and general questions about the Veterans health care system.
Gibbons’ Ellwood City office is located on Line Avenue. An appointment is not necessary.
Rep. Gibbons represents a portion of Butler, Beaver and Lawrence counties.
