25-year old Easton Renwick won the 113th West Penn Open Wednesday in a playoff over Mike Van Sickle at Butler Country Club. After both players set an Open scoring record with a total of 202 and -8 under par through the regulation 54 holes, Renwick birdied both extra holes for his first professional victory. He becomes the 13th player in West Penn Golf Association history to win both the Open and the West Penn Amateur, an event he won two years ago. Renwick, a Punxsutawney native, turned pro a month ago. He pocketed $6,800 for the victory. Renwick and Van Sickle shot final round -5 under 65’s.
