We are few weeks out from Butler County’s Veteran March this year and there is still time to sign up to be a part of it.
This event was originally called the 1,000 Veteran March and had been postponed. It will now be a part of the Veteran’s Day Parade on Friday, November 11, 2016 on Main Street in downtown Butler.
The idea was that there would be colored coordinated t-shirts for the different branches of military personnel and those branches would walk together in groups. If you have your t-shirt, you are more than welcome to wear it, although a t-shirt is not required to be in the march.
The mission with the march was to recognize the 501 C (3) organization, The Veterans In Need Fund, that is to help needy veterans in Butler County.
T-shirts are still available. Registration and details are online here.
