The Pittsburgh Pirates were defeated by the last place Cincinnati Reds 9-1 last night at PNC Park. Jameson Taillon gave up eight earned runs and 11 hits in just 3-2/3rds innings. Last week against the San Francisco Giants, Taillon gave up nine earned runs. Adam Frazier had three of the Pirates seven hits. The Bucs are now four games under .500 and 6-1/2 behind the first-place Cubs. The Pirates are 1-7 against the Reds this season.The two teams meet again tonight at 7:05pm.
