The Cincinnati Reds pounded the Pittsburgh Pirates 13-1 Monday afternoon. It was a make-up game after the final game of their three-game series last week was rained out. The Reds hit five home runs in the game, including two by first baseman Joey Votto, who now has 35 home runs this season. The Reds had 17 hits in the game.
The Bucs open their final home-stand of the season tonight when they host the Chicago Cubs for the first of three games. Mitch Keller will start for the Pirates. He is 5-11 this season, with a 5.96 ERA. First pitch is 6:35pm. Pre-game on WISR begins at 6:10pm.
Five of the six games this week begin at 6:35pm. Sunday’s final game of the season against Cincinnati begins at 3:05pm.
