The Pittsburgh Pirates lost to the Cincinnati Reds 8-6 Sunday at PNC Park. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak. Gregory Polanco had three hits, including his ninth home run of the season. Colin Moran hit his seventh home run. Pirates starter Joe Musgrove allowed six earned runs in 4-1/3rd innings and took the loss.
The Pirates host Milwaukee for three games beginning tonight at 7:05pm. Pre-game on WISR 680am will be 6:40pm. Trevor Williams will start for the Pirates. He has allowed 20 earned runs in his past 21 innings.
The Bucs begin the series seven games behind the Brewers and the Chicago Cubs, who are tied for first place in the National League Central Division. The Pirates are currently 35-36 overall.
